Privacy Policy
Who we are
Yong's Tutoring provides online, one-to-one tutoring. If you have any question about your data, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address and any message or details you choose to send, so we can reply and arrange lessons.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track you across sites, and AI Rank Lab, which helps us understand how the site is found. These tell us things like page views and general location, not who you are.
- Technical logs. Our host and content network (GitHub Pages and Cloudflare) process standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and provide tutoring, and to understand and improve the website. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and receive enquiries: Formspree (delivers contact-form messages to us), Cloudflare and GitHub Pages (hosting, security and analytics), and AI Rank Lab (search analytics). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Some providers, including AI Rank Lab, may use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Keeping your data
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and, where you become a student, to provide tutoring. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will action your request.
Students under 18
Many of our students are under 18. Where that is the case, we ask that a parent or guardian makes or approves the enquiry and any lesson arrangements.
Terms of Service
Our services
We provide online, one-to-one tutoring for GCSE and A-level students, and interview preparation, in the subjects listed on this site. Lessons are delivered over video and arranged individually with each student.
Pricing and payment
Our standard rates are £40 per hour for GCSE, £45 per hour for A-level and £50 per hour for interview preparation. Rates may change over time; the price for your lessons is agreed with you before they begin. Payment and scheduling are arranged directly with you.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate you. Any specific arrangements are agreed between us when lessons are booked.
What we can and cannot promise
We work hard to help every student improve, but we cannot guarantee a specific grade or exam outcome, as results depend on many factors including each student's own effort.
